For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever” (Rom. 11:33-36). Because of these things my friend, we can trust God far beyond our ability to comprehend, to be looking out for our good in all things at all times. The apostle Paul said it this way: “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Eph. 3:20). And “the power that worketh in us” is none other than the blessed holy Ghost, if indeed we have received it, and follow hard after it (Acts 1:8; Rom. 8:14; Eph. 3:16). you see friend, you just cannot lose by entrusting and giving your all to the Lord. He is very, very good; and he has very, very good plans for your life and mine. The key to attaining unto those wonderful plans that he has for you and I, is as the old hymn says: “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus; but to trust and obey.” Amen, and God bless one and all.
